Emerging from East London during the pandemic, Rock + Ruby knits together our founder’s passion for timeless, joy-inducing design, sustainability, and Great British quality.

Rock + Ruby was created by Creative Design Director Ruby Chahal in 2021. Inspired by her mother spending endless days knitting long-lasting hats, jumpers and socks for the family (which she still wears on long, beautiful walks with her miniature schnauzer, Rocky), she created a brand that champions her belief in timeless designs and wonderful long-lasting pieces that are easy to care for and which inspire joy.

We create beautiful, diverse pieces, with quality designed to last a lifetime. A modern brand, Rock + Ruby is about the power of what we can achieve from our own homes, and the continuous push towards a more sustainable, low-waste world.

Our packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. We’re always striving towards being 100% plastic-free, and use either recycled materials or materials which can be recycled alongside environmentally-friendly vegetable inks.

WORKING CLOSE TO HOME
We work with British manufacturers to showcase their expert craftsmanship and expertise. It allows us to create unique and timeless sock designs, made in small batches to ensure the best quality. All our manufacturers are true expert craftsmen who have pride in what they do. They all share our values for helping and supporting local communities and for responsibly-sourced materials.
